This position is contingent upon contract award Amentum is seeking a Master HVAC Technician to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure and may occur from multiple locations simultaneously. Essential Duties: Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs. Identify fault isolation and resolution of tactical and strategic environmental systems and their sophisticated electronic support systems. Ability to plan, install, troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems not fully covered by technical manuals, schematics, etc. Minimum Requirements: Must possess a U.S government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph. College, Vocational School, or High School diploma or equivalent and a combination of 10 years' education and experience leading to licensure as a Master HVAC, or equivalent licensure or certification at a State level; or 12 years' experience in an equivalent Military HVAC training/certification. Possess EPA 608 Type II (or Universal) certification. 4 years' experience with HVAC control and monitoring systems and their components. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Expert level experience in design, installation and sustainment of computer controlled environmental systems in mobile secure facilities. Command of fluent English, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams written under the ASHRAE, UFC, and IMC standards. Required to meet US Government accepted and industry standards criteria for technically complex computer environmental systems, uninterrupted power distribution systems, and power control equipment.
