Promote a culture of valuing our people by fostering a business partnership with all segments of MPW. Provide direction and leadership that ensures the successful implementation of policies, practices, and procedures that support the mission and strategy of MPW. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support recruiting team to ensure continual flow of qualified candidates to support timely hiring of employees through branding and source development. Fosters a positive attitude towards company goals and objectives through onboarding process, training and development, etc. Identify opportunities for leadership development and recommend solutions for training needs. Advise and partner with management to appropriately resolve employee relations issues. Partner with business segments to develop organizational talent at all levels by actively participating in the performance review process, talent reviews, and promotions. Educate appropriate business segments on processes and policies such as, interviewing, hiring, promoting, corrective action, effective terminations, attendance, etc. Partner with Corporate business segments (Risk, Benefits, Training, etc.) to ensure consistency and continual development of workforce. Partner with all business segments to improve employee retention through: Development and implementation of effective employee relations methods Training and development Effective incentive programs Maintains updated knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations as related to Human Resources practices. Identify opportunities and commit to continuous professional self-development. Perform other duties as directed. Developing Organizational Talent: Developing direct reports' skills and competencies by planning effective development activities related to current and future department needs. Customer Service Orientation: Proactively developing customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the customer (both internal and external); anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction. Required Skills Required Experience Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Professional Human Resources certification preferred. 1-2 years experience as a Generalist or Recruiter, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficient computer skills including MS Office. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication. Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolutions skills. Ability to travel to various sites and branches as the business demands is required.
