Human Resources Professional Progressive audio-visual staging and service company seeks an HR Professional. Our services include comprehensive AV staging and presentation solutions for corporate, social, live entertainment, convention, and show management. We are looking for an HR Manager to handle various personnel-related administrative duties. You are the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolutions. You will also support our daily HR activities and coordinate HR policies, processes, and relevant documentation. DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Requirements: An ideal candidate for the human resources assistant position holds an academic HR background. Familiarity with our industry is also an advantage. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department is organized and operates to attract, hire, and maintain our employees. An outgoing personality, industry knowledge, and strong consultative skills are preferred. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with day-to-day operations Review resumesĀ Screen candidates Recruit/Headhunt Compile and update employee records Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations. Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves, etc.) Process employee leaves of absence by policy Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees Maintain personnel records in accordance with current laws and regulations Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews Perform background and reference checks Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures Assists in the investigation of employee complaints Maintains employee confidentiality Partake and process paperwork in employee terminations Communicate with public services when necessary Ensure Company standards, policies, and procedures are maintained DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS Self-starter that can thrive in both a corporate and start-up type environment Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) Presentation skills BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Strong experience with MS Office Suite Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (3-5yrs) A comprehensive compensation package will be offered including salary, company retirement plan contribution, medical and dental insurance, vacation, and holidays.
