Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for an IT Director, Technology Delivery Leader position based in the New York City office. IT Director, Technology Delivery Leader What can you expect? A competitive compensation package, including excellent employee benefits. We will count on you to: Oversee a portfolio of applications in the IT Global Analytics and Advisory organization. Manage a portfolio of projects and individual projects as needed, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget and to the highest quality. Collaborate with the team to formulate technology strategy, drive innovation, and mitigate risks. Partner with stakeholders to create and maintain strategic Road Maps Recommend and lead complex process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure successful implementation of change. Execute relevant implementation, support, and change management processes (e.g., Software Development Lifecycle and Change Management) Manage team staffing and collaboration in a matrix organization with globally distributed teams. Lead IT governance and project delivery processes. Manage the annual budget process for a portfolio of applications and facilitate monthly budget forecast reviews. What you need to have: Reinsurance industry experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience 10+ years' experience in delivery of IT, large scale applications implementation projects in a global, matrix environment Implementation experience with both vendor products and custom developed applications Knowledge of secure software development life cycle methodologies and best practices Knowledge of IT Systems (e.g., Infrastructure, Applications and Data) Knowledge of project financials (ROI, CapEx and OpEx) What makes you stand out: Agile Project Management certification (SAFe or similar) Experience leading large scale data analytics, actuarial or other complex technology programs. Familiarity with Cloud-based technology solutions (e.g., Azure) Experience implementing technology solutions involving data platforms, reporting/analytics toolsets (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Factory, etc.) and generative AI. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person. The applicable base salary range for this role is $134,200 to $268,400. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
