Responsibilities: • Exceeding billable hour requirements is essential for this role in Ebensburg, PA, US. • Efficiently managing the attorneys' calendars will be one of your key responsibilities. • Ensuring all filing and other deadlines are met is crucial. • Conducting interviews with clients and witnesses to gather necessary facts and information. • Clearly explaining relevant firm and external policies and procedures to clients. • Serving as a liaison between the client and other involved parties in legal matters. • Assisting and attending trials, depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings. • Creating high-quality legal documents and correspondence independently. • Conducting legal research and gathering information as directed. • Summarizing research findings and drawing conclusions. • Assisting in trial, hearing, deposition, and other legal preparation processes. • Accurately tracking all billable and non-billable time in the Firm's practice management software. • Performing quality checks on client files to ensure compliance with the Firm's File Keeping Policy. • Drafting and preparing legal documents for court filings. • Familiarizing yourself with filing requirements for various courts to ensure successful document submission. • Demonstrating independence and sound decision-making abilities in your work.
