As Associate Director, Paid Search Strategy & Innovation within Verizon's in-house digital media team, you will be responsible for the overall paid search approach across all inventory types to achieve brand and business objectives for Verizon Business Group. With your knowledge of the search landscape and the evolution of business buying behavior, you will keep internal leadership, media and ad teams educated on emerging technologies. You will drive the product roadmap with our key partners. You will develop innovative plans to drive differentiation in a highly competitive landscape. Responsibilities include: The role will be responsible for the development of forward-thinking, holistic paid search strategies across the Verizon Business Group. Supporting product launches, key products, and services across paid search channels. Identify and ensure alignment on key performance indicators for paid media campaigns. Integrating paid media with organic search Monitoring campaign performance and providing insights to identify opportunities for better engagement and conversion. Keeping internal teams educated on the evolution of paid search technology, what's leading in the marketplace, where we should be going and what tech can be utilized. Aligning and integrating with inter and cross-channel teams, managing the ongoing communication with these stakeholders for applicable projects. Stakeholders include, but are not limited to other Marketing Activation, Integrated Marketing, GTM, Organic search, Customer Experience/Design, Digital Ops, Product and Device teams, Analytics, and their agencies/vendors. Evolving Verizon's search approach by... Leading search partnerships to innovate and drive product roadmaps. Transforming paid search strategies to align with business customer focused goals. What we're looking for... You'll need to have: Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. Experience hands-on-keys in primary buying platforms & formats (Google, Yahoo/Bing, etc.). Brand marketer/agency/consultative services experience in developing paid search media strategy & investment plans. Experience managing multiple stakeholders in highly matrixed organizations. Experience overseeing and directing vendors, partners, agencies, etc. Analytical skills to translate into actionable insights and performance plans. Willingness to travel based on the needs of the business. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Bachelor's degree or above is preferred. Experience leading a team. Experience with management of budgets of at least fifty million dollars. Experience with data-driven media technology (Liveramp, Adobe AAM, Epsilon, Acxiom, Google Analytics, Search Ads 360). Knowledge of advertising channels across TV, audio, OOH, Display (desktop, mobile), Digital Video, Social Media, various buying methodologies (CPM, CPC, CPA), etc. Experience with ad verification and brand safety tools (IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat). Experience making recommendations and influencing executives on strategy and tech adoption, based on thorough awareness of the current and emerging tech landscape. Experience and ability to influence across divisions, departments and teams. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $123,000.00 and $228,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
