Were seeking a future team member for the role of Senior FX Data Analyst to join our Global Markets team. This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRID In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways: Contribute to the overall development of our FX Overlay analytics offering Take ownership and expand the capabilities of the Overlay analytics suite Further automate data ingestion processes Develop informative, intuitive and robust internal- and client-facing reporting Partner with Markets Technology and Operations to deliver best-in-class analytics and reporting to our FX Overlay clients To be successful in this role, were seeking the following: Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (finance, data science, business information systems, computer science, physical sciences, mathematics, statistics) 3+ years of experience in financial services Familiarity with foreign exchange markets and instruments Practical experience with data analysis and business analytics Knowledge of data cleansing / enrichment / modeling techniques The ability to implement data quality control, validation, and linkage Experience producing clear graphical representations and data visualizations Background in SQL and Python required Experience in Tableau, Power BI and Excel preferred At BNY, our culture speaks for itself. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $147,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
