Camping World is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Technology that will lead our technology strategy and oversee the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills to drive the technology agenda in alignment with business objectives. What You'll Do: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, quality analysts and technical professionals. Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and deployment. Define and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable architecture and design patterns for our various digital platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support our websites and platform's development and evolution. Implement and optimize agile development methodologies and processes to facilitate rapid, iterative delivery of high-quality software solutions. Establish metrics, KPIs, and monitoring tools to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous optimization and improvement. Communicate technology strategies and updates to executive leadership and stakeholders. What You'll Need to Have for the Role: Requires 10+ Years Enterprise Systems Experience, with 4+ years in a leadership position. Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field. Strong technical background with expertise in modern software development practices, architecture, and infrastructure. Experience with APIs, React, Next.js, Node, Salesforce, Microservices, Systems Integrations, QA, Automation. Demonstrated ability to drive technical strategy and make data-driven decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term goals. Experience in platform selections, when to build vs buy with an eye towards scalability, maintenance and extensibility. Deep understanding of site instrumentation, tagging, personalization, segmentation and customer engagement tools & processes. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
