About the team FIS product team is seeking an Agile Product Owner to join amazing team working on financial technology solutions, who are passionate about transforming the way world Pay and Bank. The Product Analyst will be a product champion, a great team player with encouraging approach with cross functional teams. Define, maintain & prioritize backlog (epic/features/user stories) to guide the agile software development team. Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments. Draft product key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions. Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies. Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product. Ensure team focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy. Ability draft & define appropriately detailed specifications for the product features, so they are clearly understood by the development & QA teams. Understands product strategy, market, industry, and client goals. Reviews and provides feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria. Creates Sprint Release Plans with scrum master, project managers & development teams. Monitors the development progress and provides updates to stakeholders, as requested. Leads planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements. Trains internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems, or new procedures. Conducts one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience. What you bring: (Skills) 3-6 years' experience in software product management or equivalent role Prior experience 3+ years in the payments industry, with demonstrable understanding of major trends in Online / Instore payment solutions Understanding of agile methodology, e.g. SAFe, with competence utilizing project management software tolls (e.g. Rally) to write concise user stories to communicate with the Engineering and QA teams and to ensure feasibility. Ability to operate independently and effectively, under the supervision of Product Managers Familiarity with managing a post-production launch to support the sales cycle, gauge performance A strong team player, comfortable collaborating with and coordinating the efforts of cross-functional colleagues Highly self-motivated with a strong will to win, ability to take ownership and desire to drive for optimal business results Ability to adapt to and embrace frequent change with a positive attitude A self-starter with a can-do attitude who can operate with minimal direct/daily supervision Understanding of Microservices, tools like Splunk etc will be bonus What we offer you Attractive benefits including private medical cover, dental cover, and travel insurance.
