Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working within a small business environment, and will be ready to embrace company growth Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years' experience as a lead installer and must have knowledge of HVAC equipment, codes, and proper installation procedures Must have experiences with installing and modifying duct work for residential and commercial structures Soldering and brazing skills required Must have the ability to lift at least 75lbs daily Job requires sitting and standing for long periods of time, climbing ladders, and carrying equipment Valid driver's license needed; company truck will be provided Maintain a clean and professional appearance before each job while encouraging the rest of the team to follow suit The ability to communicate in a positive manner to the team and to customers -- on and off the jobsite The ability to delegate responsibilities within each job, ensuring the best results for our customers by assigning the best possible person to the task at-hand HVAC: 3 years (Required) Benefits Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 -- 45 per week Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunities Commission pay Overtime pay Responsibilities The Lead Installer will be responsible for setting the mood for each job, and if you're a positive, detail oriented, and driven installer who understands the importance of customer satisfaction - apply today! Must have the ability to install and work with a wide range of HVAC systems (Ie - gas, oil, steam, boilers, etc) Responsible for accurately installing HVAC equipment within multiple types of residential and commercial structures Inspects new equipment that comes straight from the manufacturer, to ensure there are no dents or broken parts, and that all necessary parts are on-hand before an install Encourages the team to provide quality work on each install while still finishing the job within a timely manner Ability to keep homeowners politely in the loop when they come around on the job Ensures a tidy install every time, ensuring no messes are left behind Tests every new installation thoroughly to ensure that the job was done properly and to minimize call backs This includes checking refrigerant and electrical components Repair any issues found on the job before the team wraps up the install Utilize past knowledge and experience to help teach your fellow team how to work at their fullest potential Ensures the crew respects not only the homeowners' property, but also the equipment provided by Tru North Leads the install team by example -- will be responsible for the entire job which means also partaking in the installation itself
