Job Summary: The Lifeguard is responsible for enforcing all Water Park rules and regulations to ensure guest safety and enjoyment throughout the park. Responsibilities: QUALIFICATIONS: Read write and speak English fluently. Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees. CPR certification preferred. Outgoing enthusiastic and personable. Strong swimming ability required. Weekend availability required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating effectively with Water park guests and associates. Complete the required number of in-service hours per month to ensure a high level of preparedness to handle all situations including any emergencies that may arise Maintain a current American Red Cross Lifeguard for Water Park First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications. Understand equipment procedures and policies. Be alert use proper scanning techniques and avoid unnecessary talking while on duty. Assist the Water Park leadership and Head Lifeguards with all other duties as assigned.
