Millwright - Industrial Mechanic

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Industrial Mechanic - Millwrights for an upcoming assignment in the GTAThis position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 4days per week when assigned to a project.You will earn:$60.00 per hour before overtime$30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)Flight Provided (when required)***Contract Duration is 1-120 days***Duties & Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs associated on various machinery in a manufacturing environmentExperience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical maintenanceUse and interpret schematics and blueprints related to plant equipmentPractice and maintain standard operating procedures and remain compliant with all quality, safety, production and environmental rules, standards and regulationsMaintain accurate up-to-date maintenance database recordsDemonstrated working knowledge of lock out tag out and confined space stall, troubleshoot and repair compressed air systems and hydraulic systemsExperience with rigging of equipment, set-up and alignment of machinery and equipmentReview work assignments and job procedures to ensure safe and reliable work executionMaintain plant equipment at optimum efficiencySkills & Qualifications:Minimum Grade 12 or equivalentHold a valid 433A certificate of qualification - Industrial Mechanic or another skilled trade with equivalent experienceMin 1 year millwright experience in a manufacturing environmentOwn tools requiredFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systemsStrong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.Demonstrated strong interpersonal, technical and communication skillsFluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)AFIMAC is a global risk management and elite security company.
