You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Welding Engineer in Lynchburg, VA your work will include testing, development, and support for procedure and personnel qualifications as well as field repair/construction solutions. You will also have the opportunity to gain first hand experience with first-of-a-kind (FOAK) repair and plant modification solutions. The position primarily focuses on the use and improvement of the Gas Tungsten Arc, Shielded Metal Arc, and Gas Metal Arc welding processes for use on dissimilar metal, narrow groove, alloy steels, nickel based alloy and stainless steel welds. Work is primarily conducted in compliance with ASME Code requirements but may also utilize the AWS Codes. The position will consist of unique projects that may require working in groups and on-site engineering support. Discover Lynchburg, Virginia: Your Total Rewards Package The range of base salary for the position is between $63,000 - $82,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
