As our newest Payroll Tax Analyst , you'll join our friendly & talented team of payroll experts where you'll review & process payroll taxes for clients across the country. The Payroll Tax Analyst reports to the Payroll Tax Manager. This position is responsible making sure our clients across the country are balanced and ready to be always filed for taxes. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Balance taxes for direct-access, FOUNDATION and FOUNDATION SaaS clients Contact clients to correct any out of balances that are found Review and rebalance clients after each payroll are run Assisting clients in posting client requested changes Maintain an elevated level of expert knowledge of federal, state and local statutes, regulations and best practices relating to payroll taxes Review and monitor payroll records to confirm tax transactions are recorded accurately Positively contribute to client retention by providing positive, clear, and effective customer service communication via phone, email and/or fax Teamwork and high level of interaction requiring regular and predictable on-site attendance Face-to-face interaction and coordination of work with other employees All other duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience Payroll tax knowledge Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven industry Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work closely with internal departments and outside agencies Comfortable working independently Strong organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and could learn and master other software applications as needed Preferred experience in Foundation Software.
