Responsibilities Key Recovery , located in Brookhaven, PA offers several outpatient groups for adults requiring structured care during the day, but who can continue to return home following their treatment. . Visit us online at: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for routing calls, taking messages, greeting/accommodating patients, guest, their families and vendors. The Administrative Assistant collects and manages co-pay process, schedules assessments, enters patient information into computer applications, manages tracking logs, assist therapist with filing, and oversees the assembling of medical records. Qualifications Job Specifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate ability to provide clinically sound interventions and services to varied populations including chemically dependent and dually diagnosed adult and/or adolescent patients. Be flexible to reassignment to areas to perform such interventions. Follow the lead of supervisors and Charge Persons to assure consistent and appropriate care. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a behavioral health setting preferred. Knowledge: Word processing with the ability to type; familiarity with computer spreadsheets databases. Supervision Received: Clinical Director Environmental Conditions: Professional office environment. Exposure to dually diagnosed patients who potentially may exhibit violent or aggressive behavior. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/bodily fluids. Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Physical agility to manage patients. Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent walking, bending and stooping.
