Key Responsibilities/ Duties: Maintain deep knowledge of the client's specific needs within the long-term care environment, including applications, infrastructure, and clinical and administrative workflows. Assist long-term care clients in developing, maintaining, and managing an IT budget that meets their operational and compliance requirements. Develop and maintain written strategic technology roadmaps that address the evolving needs of long-term care facilities, ensuring alignment with care delivery objectives. Provide strategic direction to long-term care clients by leveraging technologies that enhance resident care, optimize staff workflows, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Advise clients on regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, and other long-term care standards) and support compliance efforts through appropriate technology solutions. Stay informed about long-term care industry trends, regulations, and emerging healthcare technologies to offer innovative solutions that address sector-specific challenges. Conduct IT risk management assessments tailored to long-term care environments, focusing on minimizing risks to resident data, operational continuity, and care quality. Lead regular Executive Business Review meetings with C-level executives, administrators, and department heads in long-term care facilities to review IT strategy and outcomes. Collaborate with internal leadership to design and build IT service offerings specifically catered to the long-term care industry. Act as a subject matter expert in the long-term care sector at industry events and sales meetings, supporting the business development team. Participate in prospect and clients assessments within the long-term care market and provide detailed gap analyses with recommendations for improving technology alignment and care outcomes. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Sound conceptual knowledge of IT infrastructure, clinical and administrative workflows, and software systems used in long-term care facilities. Knowledgeable in healthcare compliance, regulations, and technology standards specific to long-term care. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business strategies. Strong business acumen with a focus on the financial and operational challenges unique to the long-term care industry. Superior organization, leadership, and facilitation skills, particularly in a healthcare setting. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree required in related field. 10+ years of experience in IT consulting or prior experience as CIO in specific industry vertical. Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate business benefits of technology investments. Strong foundation in financial management with the ability to translate technology investments into financial terms. Proven track record of maintaining C-level relationships as a trusted advisor. Physical Demands: Sedentary Work - Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
