This role is perfect for you. Let's kickstart your career in Wabtec's LEAD Operations rotational development program. What to Expect in LEAD (Leadership, Expertise & Accelerated Development): The LEAD Operations Program is a 2-year rotational program that allows you choose areas of interest and develop your skill sets. LEAD consists of four, 6-month rotations that are intended to provide a broad exposure to the engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and EHS functions leading to successful off program placement in a role that will launch your Wabtec career. You can focus on some of our industry's most impactful areas in LEAN, 6sigma, supply chain, logistics, materials, testing, services, sourcing, leadership/supervision, additive and more. But that's not all! Your program experience will include leadership and technical training, contributions to program operations, exposure to senior leadership, and development of a lifelong network of professionals and friends. Locations: Individuals joining the program in the US must be willing and available to accept rotations in any of our locations based on business needs. Examples of those locations include but are not limited to Erie, Grove City & Pittsburgh, PA, Greenville & Duncan, SC, Kansas City, MO, Fort Worth, TX, Germantown, MD, Las Vegas, NV, Chicago, IL and Salem, VA. Relocation lump sum is provided to get you where you need to go. Requirements - We are looking for: Four-year degree in: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Environmental Health & Safety, Systems Engineering & other related technical degrees. Graduating by December 2024/January 2025 or May/June 2025 Willingness and ability travel and/or relocate with the United States Open to applicants legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment. Desired: Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 (based upon 4.0 scale) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: A strong commitment to a career in engineering, supply chain or manufacturing General understanding of engineering, supply chain or manufacturing fundamentals with desire to continue learning Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in engineering, supply chain, logistics, sourcing, manufacturing or relevant areas Ability to learn new skills sets quickly to be able to make an impact in new roles, situations Strong customer focus (internal or external), ability to understand the value proposition for the customer, and commitment to deliver the best value proposition Demonstrated program / project management skills working on and leading teams Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom; ability to communicate & tailor messages up and down the leadership chain Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate problems in clear and simple terms; strong analytical skills Ability to solve problems, contribute to creative solutions and challenge the status quo Resilience & ability to pivot with changing directives and metrics Proactively learns new tools and identifies opportunities for improvement and promotes their adoption Desire to lead people and processes as a front line supervisor Wabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world's toughest challenges.
