Our team is looking for a Supplier Performance to join them. You will report to the Site Supply Chain Director and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC. As a Supplier Performance Manager in the Aerospace Supply Chain Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective performance of our suppliers. You will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the performance of our suppliers to enhance the overall supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of aerospace industry requirements, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with suppliers. To be considered for the Supplier Performance Manager opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Proven experience in supplier performance management within the aerospace industry. Strong understanding of aerospace supply chain processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software. Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. As a Supplier Performance Manager, you will: Supplier Performance Monitoring: Establish and maintain a robust system for monitoring supplier performance against key metrics, including quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness. Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to identify areas of improvement and adherence to contractual obligations. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement. Generate comprehensive reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and proposing corrective actions as needed. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement improvement plans to address performance gaps and enhance overall efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between supplier performance and organizational objectives. Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for performance-related matters. Conduct regular supplier meetings to discuss performance metrics, improvement plans, and address any concerns. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain related to supplier performance and develop mitigation strategies. Collaborate with the procurement team to assess and manage risks associated with supplier relationships. Compliance and Standards: Ensure that suppliers comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and contractual agreements. Work closely with the quality assurance team to implement and monitor compliance with aerospace industry standards.
