Core Media Software Engineer II

As a Core Media Software Engineer II, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software systems. Key Responsibilities: Designing, documenting, and deploying complex software solutions. Collaborating with project managers to define project priorities and deadlines. Applying Agile methodology and practices including regular scrums and sprint planning. Collaborating with other engineers to deliver new features and bug requirements. Providing on-call support to operations teams as needed. Debugging complex issues in live production environment. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Software Engineering or related field. 3+ years of experience in developing complex software solutions. Full stack programming experience in Java/J2EE, Javascript, and/or VueJs. Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS or similar cloud environment. Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools such as Github, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker. Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with audio or video encoding and streaming technologies. Experience with design and development of enterprise-centric user interfaces. *This position is based in Morrisville, NC with a hiring range of $107,300 - $143,800 per year. Actual pay offered may vary based on geographic region, candidate's experience, and other factors.
