Description: Regional HR Manager No. of Position 1 Location: Milford, OH Experience : 15 years in HR Generalist Function, 3 years as Manager/Supervisor This position manages a team of HR Partners to address all employee related issues. The employees that they are responsible for supporting are in a geographical area consisting of several states. This position requires about 20% travel. In addition to a regional responsibility, the Manager of HR is also responsible for supporting specific Business Units. Regional Responsibilities Include: •Manages a team of HR Partners within the geographical area responsible for. Responsible for managing the competency development, training and performance management for the HR partner reporting to them. •Leads Talent Management initiatives supporting Employees including performance appraisals, promotions, competency development and rewards and recognition etc. •Ensures that all Talent Retention initiatives are occurring which includes the assignment of a Business Mentor to all new Local Hires, and an HR Partner assigned to all new Local Hires. •Implements Employee engagement initiatives (HR Connectivity with Associates, Town Hall Meeting, Open House meetings, Employee Engagement events, Corporate sustainability initiatives) for the respective regions. Creates mechanisms to increase Employee Satisfaction Survey participation and monitoring Employee Satisfaction Index for the region and responsible for preparation and timely closure of action plans from Employee Satisfaction Survey. •Coordinates with the Talent Acquisition Team regarding talent integration/ on boarding, campus recruitment etc. •Works with the Learning & Development team for Learning Programs for Campus Hires, support, faculty identification/support and training nomination support etc. •Ensures that all internal compliance issues are addressed such as implementation of Employee Policies and timely communication to the leadership team. Oversees the grievance process and HR compliance, legal issues, governance and HSE management for the region. Business/ISU Responsibilities include: •Works with Business and HR Heads to ensure that all of their global programs are supported within the USA including High Potential Development Programs, Leadership development, and Succession Planning initiatives. •Provide support to the business by doing presentation for Clients as needed. •Responsible for developing, maintaining and submitting Business Unit metrics and MIS for the Business Units they support as necessary. •Responsible for the maintenance and timely submission of all regional HR reports and MIS.
