CDL-A - OTR Truck Driver

The majority of the drivingwork takes place Monday through Friday, however weekend work is as necessary.The ideal candidate will have flatbed and step deck experience. The OTR Driver will occasionally drive a pick-up truck with a gooseneck trailer. The OTR Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles with a capacity ranging from 10,000 pounds to beyond 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVWR).Responsibilities:Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truckAssist with loading and unloading cargo; use a sky track as needed.Properly track and document activity logReport any issues or incidents to dispatchInspect truck before and after tripAssist in the yard with organization of inventory as neededQualifications:Ability to travel up to 80% is requiredPrevious experience in truck driving or other related fieldsCommercial driver's license - CDL-A requiredMust have a clean driving recordAbility to obtain a DOT Medical CardAbility to handle physical workloadAbility to work a flexible scheduleStrong work ethicWhat We Have to Offer:Highly Competitive Pay, Depending on ExperienceMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits401k with Company MatchOpportunities for AdvancementDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
