CDL Class B LOCAL Route Delivery Driver

Accountabilities:·         Loadingunloading and delivering emptyfull gas cylinders, safely and efficiently·         Performing and documenting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections·         Maintaining knowledge of and complying with all DOT and OSHA regulations·         Ability to follow provided route given from dispatch daily·         Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and legibly to submit at the end of each business day·         Resolving or escalating any customer inquiries or issues, as needed·         Ability to meet deadlines·         Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle·         All other duties as assigned Required SkillsAbilities: ·         Valid Class B CDL·         HazMat Endorsement - (HazMat Endorsement is not required to apply but must be obtained shortly after employment begins·         Must be able to thrive in a team environment ·         Strong verbal and written communication skills·         Strong work ethic and ability to understand and follow instructions·         Clean commercial driving record - minimum 3+ years·         Successfully completing of pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical·         Successfully completing of a company administered road test Education & Experience: ·         High school diploma or equivalent preferred·         Knowledge or experience in gas, welding and safety supply industry is a plus Physical Requirements: ·         Working indoors and outdoors·         Must be able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)·         Occasionally working overtime as required
