Dietary Aide - Part Time, Full Time - West Campus

Oakwood Village has an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to join our senior living community team as a Dietary Aide (Food Server). As a Dietary Aide, you are responsible for the pleasant meal service to residents and visitors and for cleanupsanitation of kitchen equipment and general kitchen area. The Dietary Aide positions have: * Full-time or Part-time hours. AM and PM shifts available. No working past 7PM! * Starting pay from $16hr. * $1.00 for hours worked after 3PM and an $1.00 for weekends. * All positions require a weekend rotation. Primary Job Responsibilities (Not intended to be an all-inclusive list) * Responsible for prompt and courteous service to all guests. * Serving dinner to residents, staff, and visitors according to menu. * Responsible for checking assignment board for posting of evening table assignments. * Working in dish room as assigned and proper storage of clean dishes. * Responsible for pre-meal preparation of folding napkins and presetting of tables. * Bussing tables as assigned for proper cleanup of dirty dishes. * Proper reset of dining room for next day service. * Restock of condiments on tables. * Maintaining clean and sanitized areas: Workstations, resident dining room, and dish and potspans areas. * Proper labeling and storage of food in workstation areas. * Finishing assigned cleaning duties, when guests have left the dining room. * Communicating with Dining Room Coordinator for any cleanup or setup of any catering needs. Qualifications for Dietary Aide: * Carries out job responsibilities in an accurate and conscientious manner. * Exercises independent judgment and make sound decisions * Communicates effectively with the residents, families, team members and vendors. * Required to work a weekend and holiday work schedule.
