Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0.01 Work Shift: DaysAfternoons (United States of America) This position works under the direction of the Registered Nurse providing direct care and general duties of all ages. Performs courier and transporter functions. Collects data through observation and through the use of instrumentation. Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Education: High School graduate or GED required. Knowledge and abilities: Utilizes proper grammar and legible handwriting in accurately recording data and services provided. Demonstrates competence in required clinical skills. Effective communications with the multi-disciplinary team and patients in a manner that foster the team concept and support the core values of the organization Registration, Certification, Licensure Requirement: CPR Trained. Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1. provides routine services for patient and nursing units as assigned 2. Assists the Registered Nurse in the process of admitting, transferring, and discharging of patients. Assists in the environmental orientation of patients 3. Assists patients with activities of daily living, lifting, turning, repositioning, and ambulation; assists with maintaining and reapplying restraints 4. Provides measures for patient comfort and hygiene 5. Monitors and observes patient status. Collects, records, and communicates data as per policy and procedure 6. Performs courier and transportation services 7. Assists in the maintenance of adequate supplies for the unit 8. Performs preps, catheterizations, and other sterile procedures 9. Participates in meetings, in-services, orientation of personnel and projects as needed to maintain knowledge and competency 10. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with Mission and Core Values 11. Adheres to the standards and policies of the Corporate Responsibility Program, including the duty to comply with applicable laws and regulations and reporting to designated Manager any suspected unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful acts or practices. 12.
