Job Description: Surgical First Assist Full Time I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required * Surgical First Assist facilitates the delivery of perioperative nursing care by assisting the surgeon in achieving desired surgical outcomes. * Supports the surgery department by providing direct patient care, evaluating outcomes and adjusting nursing care process to adhere to legal, ethical, and clinical standards. * Demonstrates the spirit of Baptist health Corbin values and standards through actions and speech. * Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures and will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
