To learn more, click here .For our Mission, click here .POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for implementing treatment plans and for the direct care and safety of the children residing at Walden School.FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise children in daily routines and assist with the activities of daily living skills.Support and assist children using methods which reflect the treatment philosophy of Walden School.Develop and maintain meaningful and supportive relationships with the children while maintaining appropriate adultchild boundaries.Convey all pertinent information concerning students to other staff via e-mail, logs and incident reports.Maintain current certification in PART, Pro-Act, OSHA, CPR and First Aid.Utilize behavior management techniques that are consistent with the Walden School mission statement and individual students' treatment plans.Prepare living skills activities that are age and skill appropriate for students in the unit.Perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Supervisor.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
