POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, the Hilo Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate and stack product. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Safe and efficient operation of all power operated equipment that requires certification * Safe and efficient movement of product; including loading and unloading trucks * Accurately pick and pack items for shipment with a forklift * Work with inventory control on correct product placement * Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation * Adhere to housekeeping and visual management standards (5S). * Adhere to health and safety requirements and procedures. * Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns. * Participate in process improvement by communicating to supervisor andor team lead * Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or department manager. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * A minimum of 1 year experience within a production manufacturing environment. * Valid Powered Industrial Truck Permit * Must be available to work any shift and overtime as required. * Strong attention to detail. * Effective problem solving and decision-making skills. * Self-motivated and task orientated. * Strong team player. * Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Full Range of Motion (ability to bend and twist while moving parts). * Ability to stand for long periods of time (10 - 12 hours per day). * Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. * Ability to lift parts from 25-50 lbs.
