In the absence of the Administrator, this position assumes full responsibility for the clinic.Growth and DevelopmentWe are committed to improving patient health and minimizing hospitalizations and missed treatments. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will assist with clinical and operational processes to achieve this goal. Your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating patient scheduling, ensuring effective staffing levels, and demonstrating efficient use of supplies and staff labor hours.We measure our success in patient outcomes, and as a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating the functions of all departments and developing standards and methods of measuring patient care services. You will work closely with the Administrator to maintain thorough and accurate documentation in patient records and promote our quality management program through education and involvement of staff and patients.Operational ReadinessAs a Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including health care professionals practice act requirements. You will work with the Administrator to develop and implement Corrective Action Plans and maintain a safe and sanitary physical environment throughout the facility. You will also be responsible for supervising the maintenance of equipment and supplies and responding to emergencies in the clinic.Partnerships and Staff DevelopmentWe value collaborative working relationships with our Medical Director and physicians, as well as with Administrators, area hospitals, agencies, vendors, and the community. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will maintain a positive relationship with these stakeholders and promote our GUEST customer service standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring all staff meet required qualifications for their positions and perform duties within established limitations.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have a current RN license in the applicable state, 12 months of experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis. You must also have CPR certification, be able to distinguish primary colors, and have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
