Dietary Aide

About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at The Health Center at The Willows at Worcester. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that all meals are prepared according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality and nutritious meals that meet their individual needs.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a dietary or food service role preferredAbility to follow recipes and dietary restrictionsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:Certification in food service or dietary managementExperience working with seniors or in a healthcare settingKnowledge of therapeutic diets and menu planningResponsibilities:Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residentsEnsure that all meals are prepared according to dietary restrictions and preferencesMaintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining areaAssist with inventory and ordering of food and suppliesProvide excellent customer service to residents and their familiesSkills:As a Dietary Aide, you will use your excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and their families. You will also use your attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions to ensure that all meals are prepared correctly. Additionally, you will use your organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area. Your knowledge of therapeutic diets and menu planning will be beneficial in creating nutritious and delicious meals for our residents.
