CauseMic is seeking a full-time Senior Technology Consultant with a desire to apply their talents to serve incredible nonprofit and social impact clients. This individual will work to understand the evolving needs of the organizations we serve and help implement the technical solutions to enable them to scale with Salesforce and/or HubSpot and related technologies. This future teammate must have experience consulting on Salesforce, HubSpot, Fundraise Up and/or other nonprofit CRMs in order to serve some of the most respected nonprofits in the country. This is a full-time exempt remote position from anywhere in Oregon, Washington, California, or Texas and reports to the Technology Director. What you will be doing In summary, your skills and experience will be applied to helping nonprofits adopt and configure their technology solutions ranging from Salesforce, HubSpot, and related platforms and applications. Your responsibilities include: Discover client needs through exploratory conversations, sales calls and other interactions and translate them into a scope of work with clear outcomes, requirements, and a budget. Build client and prospective client relationships by staying in close contact with key stakeholders. Work with clients to define goals, business processes, and supporting system workflows. Educate clients and administrators on project phases, system functionality, and the platform ecosystem. Produce quality project deliverables, including kickoff presentations, project plans, status reports, budget burn reports, client requirements, design documentation and deployment plans. Translate needs into user stories and technical requirements. Customization of new fields, objects, page layouts, list views, reports, etc. Design, build, and test automations. Ensure proper configuration through quality testing and facilitation of user acceptance testing. Plan and execute on data migrations from legacy systems, including data export, data mapping, data transformation, and data import. Utilize prescribed project management tools and delivery methodologies to manage implementation schedules, resources, project deliverables and communication. Plan projects from requirements gathering to solution design and development, testing, and deployment. Contribute to development and execution of CauseMic strategy through defining products and services to support clients, understanding and applying technology products and practices that best support nonprofits in achieving their goals, and helping teammates and leaders with sales, marketing, learning, and delivery. Who you are You have at least 5 years combined Salesforce, HubSpot, Fundraise Up and/or other nonprofit CRM experience with a focus in solution architecting and the ability to deliver nonprofit specific solutions. Previous experience as a consultant or business analyst working with nonprofit organizations. Experience managing projects or engaging in projects with technical and cross functional/departmental components. Previous experience working in fundraising and program management is a plus. Experience leading projects that include coaching and mentoring junior team members. Exceptional analytical skills and thorough understanding of data models and segmentation mapping. Organized, strategic thinker who can communicate and collaborate effectively. Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Have an acute attention to detail, remain organized while tackling complex projects and are able to work autonomously. Take ownership and initiative in everything you do, including speaking up when you believe there's a better way. Understand how to work effectively with a remote team. Passionate about helping nonprofits fuel their growth. Compensation and perks Competitive salary - The range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. 100% employer-sponsored health and dental plans.
