As a dedicated local driver / yard switcher, you'll play a vital role in our customers' transportation needs by ensuring the efficient movement of trailers in and out of the docks at their locations. Competitive Pay: Earn an average of $1,425 per week, totaling approximately $74,100 annually. Starting Rate: $30 per hour with overtime pay at $45 per hour for hours over 40 per week. Schedule That Works for You : Typical Workweek: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Home Every Night: Spend more time with your family'no long hauls! What You'll Do : Drive with Purpose: 75% of your time will be spent switching and 25% on local driving. Local Deliveries: Safely transport aluminum and plastic extrusions using curtainside flatbeds or vans - all within 50 miles of Louisville. Flatbed Operations: When operating a flatbed, you'll move products between our nearby plants (about a mile apart). No Tarping Required: Focus on your driving - securement straps provided for easy and safe cargo handling. Your Equipment : Drive a Daycab for comfort and convenience while being home each night.
