Direct ReportsMortgage ConsultantPrincipal DutiesManages teams' sales performance, motivation, scheduling, training and administration of policies/proceduresOriginates and maintains personal loan productionOriginate mortgage loans by responding to company-provided leads via phone in a timely mannerEnsures originations team is presenting loans at appropriate rate, amounts, terms that comply with NewRez program guidelinesReviews sales pipeline on daily/monthly basis in order to achieve monthly sales goalsAdvises and assists in resolution of customer complaints concerning any area of the companyAssists in training/development of loan officers to function in all aspects of the origination processTeaches sales techniques in an environment with company provided leadsWorks with the Call Center Regional Manager to achieve team/Regional goalsMaintains personal and team compliance with NewRez Code of ConductCollaborates with the Operations Department to assist in the flow of production/salesRecruits, interviews and selects loan originatorsParticipates in Corporate working groupsProvide superior customer service skillsStay informed of developing trends in the mortgage industryPerforms other duties as assigned by the Regional ManagerEducation and Experience Requirements Must have three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the retail or call center mortgage industry as a Loan Officer and/or a managerTrack record of mentoring and promoting Mortgage ConsultantsExperience with phone/internet lead solicitationPrior management experienceRelevant experience in selling mortgage products in the finance company/mortgage industry preferredKnowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements Ability to supervise workflow with focus on quality resultsAbility to work independentlyPositive team-building skillsPersuasive, selling communication skillsAbility to delegate in a positive style with thorough follow up skillsWork efficiently and accurately with proven success in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with efficient focus on work activitiesA solid understanding of appraisals, title reports and product guidelinesWhile this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position's requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
