Keep reading below to see what we're looking for!About the team and positionAs a Line Lead in our Build department, you will have the opportunity to work at one of our Inspection Centers, directly managing and developing a team of hourly associates while leading the team to provide necessary automotive parts to our teams in a timely and cost-efficient manner. This role will work closely with associates, and production leaders across the Inspection Center to successfully find and order needed automotive parts and manage our inventory. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, approachable, energetic, and self-motivated, with the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization at the Inspection Center. What you'll be doingManage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding set production and quality goalsReview and approve identified mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventoryLead a team of production associates and partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated cost of repairs and/or the overall quality of the vehicleTrain a team of production associates using Quality Control standards to identify and complete repairs effectively and efficiently the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays in productionIdentify and complete repairs effectively and efficiently the first time, to minimize re-work and delays in productionConscientiously work in ways that decrease possibility of injury to yourself or other team members in the shop due to spills or other preventable hazardous conditionsMeet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basisConduct business within Carvana policies and proceduresAct ethically, with integrity and in the best interest of the customer and the business at all timesPortray a positive image of Carvana and actively participate in the creation of a positive, professional work environmentOther duties as assignedWhat you should haveThe qualifying candidate must love helping people and possess the drive to achieve superior customer satisfaction.
