ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs to Phillips 66 Sweeny Complex mobile and stationary equipment in order to ensure that the equipment is available, reliable and safe to ActivitiesPerform preventive and predictive maintenance on mobile and stationary equipment including front end loaders, forklifts, cranes, pumps, stationary engines, and repairs to mobile and stationary equipmentInspect mobile and stationary equipment for defects or required repairsAdvise the Garage Mechanic Supervisor of required major repairs or replacements to mobile and stationary equipmentMaintain safe working conditions and adhere to all safety standards Assist with administrative duties related to maintenance of mobile and stationary equipmentAssist in preparing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.Assist in setting up third party inspections on cranes.Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies.Assist in maintaining PM records and repair logs.Perform other related duties.QualificationsKnowledgeHeavy Equipment Mechanic must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:Knowledge of procedures for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of mobile and stationary equipmentKnowledge of mobile and stationary preventative and predictive maintenance schedules and programsKnowledge of when to contact other trade-persons or professionals to complete a task or repairKnowledge of equipment inspection proceduresKnowledge of workplace safety requirements and proceduresKnowledge of record keeping systems Forklifts-Case Rough Terrain and Doosan, Toyota, Yale (Warehouse Type)Welding Machines-Diesel and Gas-Lincoln and MillerCranes-Broderson Carry Deck, 15 Ton Galion, Liebeherr and Link BeltStationary Engines-Cummins, Detroit, Caterpillar-Flood and Fire PumpsBackhoes-CaseLight TowersCompressors-Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Ingersoll RandGenerators-Mulitquip, Kohler, OnanSkillsHeavy Equipment Mechanic must demonstrate the following skills:Ability to repair and maintain a wide range of mobile and stationary equipmentAbility to operate required tools in a safe and responsible mannerCustomer service skillsAnalytical and problem solving skillsDecision making skillsEffective verbal and listening communications skillsTime management skillsTeam building skillsAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
