Solar PV & Battery Installation ElectricianLinkUs, a leader in the clean energy industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar PV & Battery Installation Electrician to join our growing team.LinkUs is seeking an experienced Electrician to provide guidance and technical knowledge for a photovoltaic installation team. In this position, the Journeyman Electrician 01 will communicate the necessary job status data to the operations team to assure the successful operation and instillation of a complete and working system. The ideal candidate will also offer safety assurances, feedback to the team, adhere to the guidelines provided, and be a team player. LinkUs is a fast-paced and team-oriented company looking for the right person to lead the charge in this new growth!What's in it for you?Grow and lead with a new teamGREAT Pay! $32-43/hr, paid bi-weekly!Company vehicle and fuel cardCompany phoneRoom for growth for the right person; Opportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and collaborative team environmentResponsibilitiesInstalling and maintaining the electrical equipment and wiring that connects the photovoltaic system to the electrical gridInstallation of PV mounting systems and PV modules when necessaryEnsure that all work performed complies with 2020 NEC code and workmanshipCommunicate the necessary job status data to the Operations teamBe knowledgeable and comply with OSHA safety standards for the installation teamTroubleshooting system problems and resolving electrical issuesTrain, mentor, and develop apprenticesQualificationsValid state Journeyman Electricians 01 License, preferred Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationExperience installing photovoltaic systems, preferredExperience with data communications and monitoring systems, preferredExperience with grid-tied and off-grid battery and/or generator backup systems is a plusExcellent customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExercises a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanorThrive in a team environmentRequired SkillsWorking knowledge and ability to interpret and apply 2020 NEC requirements to PV systemsExperience reading and interpreting one-line drawings and electrical schematicsMust have working knowledge and experience replacing residential and commercial electrical services and distribution panelsMust be able to work with high voltage systems 600Vdc to 1500VdcMust be able to work with services 240Vac, 208Vac, and 480Vac in single and three-phase systems (and other variations)Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces)Must be willing and able to climb ladders, and stairs and work in high placesCapable of lifting 50 lbsOwn a Piece of the Company: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)LinkUs offers a competitive ESOP program, allowing eligible employees to become owners in the company's future success.
