PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Greenville, SC. This is an initial 8-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified Description:Coats surfaces of aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices, removes old paint from aircraft, using liquid paint remover and scraper. Smoothes surface with sandpaper and steel wool, roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to insure that paint adheres to surface, masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted, and paint insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface, using stencils. Will be working RAM coating, and various other paint shop tasks!Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent US Citizenship Must be willing to work Plastic Media Blasting Painting, paint prep activities, and all aspects of aircraft painting Must be able to wear a respirator Must be able to work 4x10D- Thursday-SundayJob ID: 15877-1Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
