General Purpose/Scope: The Director, Medicare Sales & Marketing will be responsible for building, leading and managing a Sales Team responsible for the Company's Medicare line of business. Additionally, the Director will develop and implement sales growth strategies, as well as territory development. The incumbent will report into the Director of Business Development and Marketing. Responsibilities include: Plan and manage Sales team activities to achieve enrollment goals for MAPD line of business, as well as Integra's membership objectives Develop and implement sales plans as well as sales territories Identify and develop relationships with individuals and organizations that influence the buying behavior of our target consumer (i.e., providers, regulators, faith-based organizations, community organizations, and associations, etc.). Understand the strengths and weaknesses of each organization and how it impacts the marketplace. Measure, track, and report sales productivity in accordance with established goals. Identify and incorporate training and coaching opportunities for Marketing Representatives to ensure productivity, quality, and effectiveness Work collaboratively across multiple functions including marketing and sales operations on team training (benefits/operations/sales skills) to ensure the Medicare Advantage Sales Department utilizes best practices to assist with achieving sales goals Partner with Compliance to review and resolve all sales issues that potentially might occur Oversee CMS required annual training and certification program and ongoing training to ensure regulatory compliance Conduct sales calls with Marketing Representatives to assess skills and coach/mentor for performance development. Coach Marketing Representatives on their performance to aid in achieving quantitative and qualitative performance sales targets; Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching, including reviewing sales results/activities and developmental feedback to assist with improving performance. Monitor sales results, trends and hold Marketing Representatives accountable for achieving/exceeding sales targets Partner with Talent Acquisition to source and select candidates to ensure a continual pipeline and sufficient base of Marketing Representatives to meet assigned sales/membership growth targets Conduct formal and on-the-job Marketing Representative training to ensure understanding of our product, compliance/policy requirements, sales processes, brand and value proposition messages and sales systems Organize activities, leads and territories to ensure effective and efficient coordination across the territory Act as a liaison between Marketing Representatives and Integra's sales department leads to ensure Marketing Representatives are appropriately set up and provided support to carry out their duties. This includes, contracting, licensing/appointment, certification, training, enrollment administration, commission payment, agent servicing, etc. Develop marketing materials such as brochures, summary of benefits, one pagers and all other collateral needed to brand the Medicare product. This includes conceptualizing the collateral, drafting the copy, working with internal and external liaisons to create, fine tune and finalize the items. Coordinating with fulfillment centers to ensure we have an adequate amount of inventory available. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree 3+ years of Medicare Sales Management experience at a health insurance carrier Have a NY State Accident and Health Insurance License Able to travel up to 80% of time within assigned sales market area Must have a valid/active drivers' license, current automobile insurance and reliable transportation to commute within assigned market area Proven leadership skills Skills/Abilities: Proven professional relationships within market Adapt effectively to challenging and ever-changing situations Well-developed skills in prioritizing, organization, decision making, time management, negotiating and verbal/written/presentation communication skills Strong interpersonal skills resulting in exceptional rapport with stakeholders Entrepreneurial and competitive spirit Dynamic, results-oriented problem solver Integra is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination or harassment based on any characteristics protected by the laws or regulations in the locations where we operate.
