Communications Representative

Job Title: Communications Representative Location: Washington, DC Reports To: Communications Manager or Director of Communications Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic and strategic Communications Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will support internal and external communication efforts to enhance brand awareness, convey key messages, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. This role requires a team player with strong writing and organizational skills, able to work across departments to develop and distribute impactful content. Key Responsibilities: Media Relations: Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Assist in coordinating media interviews and press conferences, and prepare talking points or Q&A materials for spokespersons. Monitor media coverage and manage press clippings to track brand presence and sentiment. Internal Communications: Support the development of internal communications strategies to enhance employee engagement and communication across the organization. Draft and disseminate internal announcements, memos, and newsletters. Event Support: Assist in planning, promoting, and executing events, including webinars, product launches, trade shows, and other promotional activities. Support on-site or virtual events as needed, including logistics, registration, and follow-up communications. Brand Consistency and Quality Control: Ensure all communications align with company brand and messaging guidelines. Proofread materials for accuracy, grammar, and consistency to uphold a professional image. Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social). Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), and basic graphic design skills are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
