Job Summary: As the Sous Chef, you will oversee the Culinary Department's daily operations, assist in food preparation, and support menu development, working Monday through Friday, AM shifts. You'll collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain food quality, control costs, and manage kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities: Support the Executive Chef in managing food costs and expenditures Assist in menu planning and development Lead and execute catering events Implement new culinary programs in collaboration with the marketing team Ensure quality food production, sanitation, and presentation standards are met Preferred Qualifications: A.S. degree or equivalent experience Experience with high-volume, complex foodservice operations is a plus Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and food cost controls Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and the internet ServSafe certification preferred Must be willing to engage in client satisfaction programs Schedule: Monday to Friday, AM shifts This role offers a structured weekday schedule, perfect for maintaining a work-life balance.
