Liberty Healthcare Corporation is hiring for a full-time Human Resources Manager position which supports several of our organization's mental health programs based at the West Valley Detention Center - a San Bernardino County jail located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. These programs are staffed collectively by over 100 professionals who provide vital support to adults who are justice-involved, incarcerated, and experiencing mental illness. As Liberty's Human Resources Manager, you will enjoy an array of responsibilities, including: Supporting leadership by serving as the Liberty's onsite human resources subject matter expert Promoting a positive workplace culture Championing diversity, equity and inclusion Helping to successfully resolve personnel and employee performance issues Assisting with employee timekeeping, changes in status, benefits issues, and employee self-service Seeking opportunities to improve employee job satisfaction and retention while minimizing turnover Taking an active role in recruiting, interviewing, and other hiring activities Onboarding new employees and coordinating orientation and training activities Fostering employee career growth and participating in succession planning Offboarding exiting employees and conducting exit interviews Participating in investigations as well as risk management and corporate compliance activities Partnering with corporate human resources, recruiting, legal, and payroll professionals This position is based at the West Valley Detention Center and will require you to work onsite in-person Monday through Friday during daytime hours. You will report directly to Liberty Healthcare's Vice President of Human Resources and work in alignment with several of Liberty's Executive Directors and their teams. As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect: Starting salary range of $93,000 240 hours (30 days) of annual paid time off for vacation, holidays, sick and personal leave Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and disability insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and 401k plan Company paid basic life insurance and long-term disability insurance For a details regarding Liberty's benefits plan visit You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following: At least five years of human resources experience which includes most of the responsibilities listed above Knowledge of California employment law Bachelor's degree Knowledge of HR information systems (ideally UKG) Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week at the West Valley Detention Center SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred.
