Sales Account Manager (Ocean)

We currently seek a Senior Account Manager who will join our North American Region (NAR) sales organization. This position will primarily be responsible for managing an assigned revenue plan that includes developing new opportunities and growing revenue for our Ocean Fiber Solutions . Results will include meeting or exceeding revenue, profitability and growth targets that are aligned with the company vision and values. The Senior Account Manager will work from a home-based office in the U.S. with reasonable proximity to a major airport. This position will travel 20-40% of the time to visit customers, attend trade shows, and engage with influencers that shape the outcome of ocean network investment decisions. The Senior Account Manager will also manage complex RFP responses as required and direct the weekly support activities associated with large global accounts. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or business preferred. Other degrees combined with substantial experience will be considered. Demonstrable understanding of basic optical fiber media and components in the telecommunications application space. Customer-facing experience with an ability to work across a broad spectrum of influencers and decision-makers at every level of the marketplace. Demonstrated capacity to rapidly learn emerging technologies and apply to new market opportunities. Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Solid project management skills and ability to guide cross-functional teams. Strategic mindset with a demonstrated understanding of pull-through strategies, partnering, and channel management.
