This role in summary Whirlpool is looking for qualified candidates for the role of System Integration Engineer, Senior Analyst, and Engineering . This role will be located at our Cleveland Manufacturing Site, Cleveland, TN. In this position you will work with the Built-in Cooking System Integration Team on cooking appliances from Concept through Maintenance of Business. This role will deliver product leadership through balanced product solutions. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to managing system integration for assigned projects, supporting ideation and scoping for cost and quality opportunities and maintaining manufacturing productivity by resolving factory issues associated with product design. The system integrator will ensure that project activities are completed on time, meeting product and project requirements, including cost, quality and performance targets. Your responsibilities will include Responsible for system integration of Built-In Cooking products during concept, development, execution and maintenance of business project phases Responsible for delivery of a system that meets system requirements and within project targets of time, cost and quality Facilitates trade-offs and issues resolution in support of project and product requirements. Ensure full system validation to product requirements Act as the technical project manager owning the system level development plan that integrates individual sub-system and critical x-functional inputs Represent the technical project team at project core team, providing report of project status vs project targets Support idea generation and scoping for cost and quality project pipelines Minimum requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 3+ years of experience in engineering working with cross functional teams 1+ years of experience technical project management Preferred skills and experiences Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Experience in the Home Appliance industry. Experience in structures, heat transfer, and thermodynamics Experience in Electrical/Electronic systems Product development & project delivery methodology experience. Budget management, financial planning and analysis, capital management. Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) knowledge. SAP / ERP systems experience.
