We go the extra mile for them and do everything in our power to help them compete in doing business at every point from quote to sale to delivery.Electric Supply Business Development Specialist Position Summary: The Electric Supply Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving new business throughout New England. This will be accomplished by working direct enterprise opportunities in our pursuable market. The Business Development Specialist will be an integral and influential contributor to the development and generation of new sales leads.General Responsibilities of the Business Development Specialist include the following:In collaboration with the Business Development Director build the lead generation pipeline to support the sales teams.Partner with Branch Managers, Outside Sales, and Marketing team to create and maintain new and existing business relationships effectively.Serve as business development specialist, integrating business development initiatives into existing sales processes.Source and develop leads in electric distribution market, create demand for closing profitable orders from sales team on all product lines.Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and ensure smooth and efficient transition to branch and inside sales teams for customer maintenance.Support customers need to feel informed about all relevant company offerings and vendor policies.Report competitive conditions observed customer financial weakness and customer feedback to management.Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of the company.Other responsibilities as necessary.Qualifications for the Electrical Supply Business Development Specialist Role: Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or other related field.Experience: 1+ years professional experience building business development function in electrical distribution environment.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of electrical distribution, product applications and industry sales experience.Track record of quota attainment and accountability for revenue achievement.Willingness to contribute to developing the sales process "playbook" to support repeatable revenue execution.Must possess strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and communicate effectively to all functions of our business.Proficiency with sales prehensive knowledge of Salesforce, TDF CRM, Job Management (Epicore).Independent, self-reliant, team member.Working Conditions Professional office environment.Travel to meet with customers necessary.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 /Perks!
