PURPOSE: Support the controller in maintaining control of the financial activities of the plant oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Process monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by the system. RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation of monthly financial statements and forecasts for the Plant. Audit, reconcile and prepare schedules of general ledger and inventory activity. Formulate and compile data for preparation of budget or other accounting projects. Supervise A/P, A/R, and payroll activities on a daily basis. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports (year and audit) and audit binder preparation. SRP package, operations memo, capital appropriations, exchange fluctuations, accounts receivable and standard cost information. Account Reconciliations and Fixed Asset Maintenance. Assist in the development and implementation of the Company's policies and procedures. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experienced in ABC costing system and ADP payroll processing, reconciliation, and reporting. Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Experience: 5 years if practical accounting experience with minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Skills: Strong computer skills (PC, AS 400) Well-Developed communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Advanced accounting skills, including standard costs, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, profit analysis, and performance measurements. Working Conditions: Majority of time in plant environment with occasional plant tours and travel as needed, out in plant environment some times also. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Working Schedule : Standard work hours will consist of 8 hours per day, 5 days a week on an assigned shift. Schedule hours may be altered as required by the training needs of employees. Ability to work overtime or irregular hours to include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as requested. Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
