Portland Insurance Litigation Associate - Mid to Senior Level The Portland office of Bullivant Houser is seeking to hire a full-time associate attorney with four or more years of relevant experience to join our nationally-recognized litigation and insurance coverage team. While experience with insurance law is preferred, we are also interested in working with talented attorneys with excellent skills in any litigation area. Our team of skilled coverage lawyers works collaboratively to counsel and defend clients in claim-related and regulatory matters. This position will have the opportunity to handle significant responsibility in all phases of litigation including legal research, motion practice, discovery, and case management, as well as appearing and presenting arguments at hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. The work may also involve non-litigated insurance coverage work, including research, writing opinion letters, and advising insurers on their obligations with respect to claims handling and coverage issues.
