Description The estimated starting salary for his position is $100,000-$125,000 per year. Job Specifications: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting. Loan workout, commercial real estate portfolio management and SBA lending experience helpful. Demonstrated ability to analyze personal and corporate tax returns. Undergraduate, four-year college degree preferred. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills and the ability to work independently. Strong negotiation skills. Individual must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities Include: Analyze and underwrite new commercial real estate loans in accordance with the Bank's lending guidelines. Review and analyze various due diligence items including, but not limited to, personal financial statements, rent rolls, income and expense statements, credit reports, borrowing entity documents. Perform collateral inspections prior to loan approval as required. Review third party reports including, but not limited to, appraisal reports, environmental reports, building violation reports, title reports, etc. Prepare credit memorandum for management and/or Board of Trustee approval. Act as a liaison between the commercial real estate lending department and the Bank's attorneys in order to resolve any loan closing related issues. Work closely with the Commercial Mortgage Loan Processors and Commercial Real Estate Loan Officers to ensure timely flow of assigned loans through the loan underwriting and closing process and assist in resolving any issues as they arise. Provide advice and guidance with regard to underwriting related issues to the Commercial Mortgage Loan Processors Keep informed of trends and developments in the real estate market, as well as the changing rules and regulations pertaining to commercial real estate lending.
