Make a DifferenceThe Ambulatory LPN or MA Float will assist the provider of a health care site with facilitation of patient visits and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the population of the practice, multiple locations. Helps cover back-office patient care and administrative responsibilities in the event of clinician illness, approved time-off, jury duty, funeral time, times of high census, other growth needs determined/identified by practice management team.This Float position will serve the Kokomo Region:Exceptional Skills -Ability to perform CPR-Medical records, and scheduling modules.-Demonstrated ability to prepare and administer medications and injections under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider safely and ability in taking patient vitals, performing injection/immunization procedures, charting and documentation, exam room preparation, infectious waste handling, knowledge of sterile techniques, routine lab procedures and collection.-Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.-Ability to travel between to use patient care skills to provide an exceptional experience.-Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite.-Ability to work effectively within a team environment.-Ability to navigate EMRs.LPN Qualifications-Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience (Required)-Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) (Required)MA Qualifications-Diploma from a Medical Assistant program OR a high school diploma + 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in physician practice.-Medical Assistant certification required Why Community?
