VideosDuties Serves as a Lead Logistics Management Specialist and Team Leader overseeing Total Package Fielding (TPF) programs for Materiel Fielding and Training, Tank-automotive and Armaments Command and associated Program Managers. Leads fielding as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides de-processing and transfer of various new or displaced equipment to members of the United States Armed Forces. Oversees all assigned logistics, supply and fielding programs and participates in meetings with program management, sustainment, and contractor personnel as TPF subject matter expert. Manages and coordinates Total Package Fielding (TPF) requirements and schedules for team. Prepares reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information, as required, and coordinate the preparation, presentation, and communication of work-related information to the supervisor. Researches, learns, and applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products. Leads the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provide leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining what improvements can be made. RequirementsConditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 75% of the time. The position requires a pre-employment physical, and annually thereafter. The incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Position requires a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles or the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License. The position requires the wear and use of prescribed personnel protective equipment. The position requires working in loud environments to include but not limited to the motor pool, weapons live fire range, and explosive ordnance.
