Quality Improvement Consultant

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Improvement Consultant at The University of Vermont Health Network is responsible for working with leadership to develop, implement and monitor clinical and operational systems improvement projects that support the organization's key strategic priorities in order to succeed as a High Reliability Organization.State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.BSN is required.MSN is preferred.Experience in a healthcare environment and experience with interpretation and evaluation of accreditation standards is preferred.Five years or more of increasing responsibility in systems, quality, or healthcare administration is required.Demonstrated management ability and strong communicationpresentation skills are essential.Ability to work with all levels of staff and management is necessary.Previous experience with JCregulatory agency preparation, coordination, education and surveys for hospitals, physician office practices, home health care and free-standing ambulatory surgery settings is preferred.Previous experience with electronic document management systems is desirable.On-call: Not required.
