Woodard & Curran is seeking a full-time O&M Project Manager with a Massachusetts Grade 6 wastewater certification to be responsible for managing the day to day operational activities and maintenance of a 3.0 MGD SBR treatment facility, sludge & septage receiving facility, the Water Street Pump Station (i.e. headworks) for raw sewerage influent screening and grit removal, maintaining eight (8) unmanned remote pump stations, air relief valves and associated force mains located throughout the 65 miles of collection system, and the Plymouth South HS MBR package treatment plant. Each day presents different challenges and learning opportunities as we work towards 100% compliance which is achieved by daily process monitoring and a comprehensive maintenance system. Woodard & Curran is dedicated to our employee's growth and development and wants to help you on your career path The Project Manager will play an active role in the coordination and communication with operations and collection system staff, client representatives, contractors, and any assigned engineering firms. He or she will also work closely with all parties to ensure effective system operation and optimization, staff development, implementation and management of an innovative predictive maintenance management program, administration and implementation of all routine and capital repair and replacement projects, and emergency response for process upsets, equipment failures, force majeure events, all alarm events, etc. Work is performed in a safe and professional manner by following established safety, operating, and emergency response procedures. Our operators participate in an "on call" rotation for plant coverage outside normal workday hours and shifts may include weekends. In addition, operators will be required to respond to emergency situations and work in inclement weather as needed. The daily schedule is Monday - Friday, 7.00AM - 3.30PM. What will you need to succeed? 10 to 15 years' experience in managing complex water wastewater treatment facilities including laboratory, and collection systems. Massachusetts Wastewater Operators License - Grade 6 High school or equivalent, with technical/vocational school background; College degree preferred with focus in Environmental Areas. Experience overseeing operating and capital budgets. Participationdirectlyandtoasignificantextentintheoperation,maintenance, and repair of water/wastewater facilities throughout the last tenyears Experience managing a minimum of 5staff members Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Proven track record with regulators and solid understanding of regulations and reporting requirements. Familiar with computers (Excel, Word, HACH WIMS, etc.), including report generation Applicant must possess a valid Driver's License and a good driving record Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment. $115,000 - $130,000 a year Depending on qualifications and erxperience.
